Eigentlich gibt es Linpus Lite nur als LiveCD, aber ich hätte es doch gerne auf dem virtuellen Rechner installiert gehabt. Geht nicht, hieß es, aber dann habe ich eine super Anleitung gefunden. Ich musste noch kurz die Befehle von vi recherchieren, aber da reicht wirklich die Eingabe von “vi verwenden” in google. Und was soll ich sagen: Es hat auf Anhieb geklappt. Wirklich klasse!

Linpus hat auch eine download-Seite, und bevor ich einen Acer Aspire One in die Hände bekomme, kann ich mir schon einmal die LiveCD-Version herunterladen und auf einem virtuellen Rechner anschauen. Die Software-Liste sieht vielversprechend aus, ich muss aber erst auf der LiveCD nachschauen, was da tatsächlich installiert ist:

Der eeePC 900 bekommt immer mehr Konkurrenz. Nicht nur dass MSI seinen MSI wind demnächst endlich auf den Markt bringen wird. Acer hat mit seiner Aspire One-Serie einen echten Konkurrenten geschaffen. Selbst bei Einfach eeePC gibt man zu: Der Acer ist nicht nur hübscher, er ist auch üppiger ausgestattet und preisgünstiger!
